What should I know about the supplements & nutrients?

You will receive premium effective and highly absorbable nutritional supplements as part of the program.

The supplements and nutrients will be shipped to all participants prior to the start date. They are dairy free, gluten free and vegan!

The cleanse involves 2 smoothies a day and other nutrients for digestion and detoxification. There is also a guide book that discusses all aspects of the program from allowed foods to meal ideas.

The use of the supplements will be covered in detail in our zoom sessions.

What else will I need to buy for this program?

Nothing! Just groceries! And I will provide a shopping list for you.

Will there be a recording of the live sessions?

Yes! If you are unable to make a live session, or want a refresher, you will have access to all the recordings for the forseeable future.

Is this health program suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women?

The short answer is no! If you are looking for health gains during pregnancy or breastfeeding, please consider other options.

What will I eat during the program?

You will focus on whole, nutrient-dense, colorful foods while on the 8-week program (and beyond!). I will recommend that you avoid gluten, dairy, and sugar, as these foods can contribute to inflammation and are common sensitivities. After the program, you are free to reintroduce gluten and dairy, however, I will encourage you to minimize or avoid sugar going forward. 

Can I exercise during the program?

Yes, I encourage at least 30 minutes of movement each day. During the Zoom presentation on exercise, I will discuss different types of exercise and the benefits of each.

Will I be able to do the program if I am traveling for part of the time?

Most likely. It helps to be where you can go grocery shopping and/or find restaurants with heathy options. If you do the cleanse and/or heathy weight management program, you can take the smoothie packets and use a shaker cup to continue the smoothies (or use a blender if you have access to one). The protein powder mixes well with water or non-dairy milk.

How much weight will I lose on this program?

It depends. This is not a weight loss program. It is about hitting “reset” and optimizing your metabolism and body composition. Past participants have lost between 3 and 15 pounds during the 8-weeks, with many participants continuing to lose weight after the program. Reducing the number on the scale is not the “goal” of this program. It’s about creating new habits for lifelong health.

What if the rest of my family is not doing the program? Can I succeed?

Yes! This is why we do this program in a group format. You will not be alone! You can modify meals to stick with the program.  For example, if having burrito night, you can have a burrito bowl instead of a tortilla. Skip the cheese and have extra guacamole! Best scenario? Get your spouse or partner to do the program with you! 

Can I have coffee during the program?

Yes (phew!). You are allowed one cup of coffee a day. Just no added sugar or cream. Try oat milk or other non-dairy (no sugar added) creamer. Might take some adjusting at first, but I bet you will not go back!

My sugar cravings are so intense. I’m not sure I can go cold turkey. Will there be support for me as I come off sugar?

Yes. I will give you tools and suggestions for breaking the sugar addiction and being free of its grasp once and for all.

How will I feel during the cleanse? I’ve never done this before.

For the first 1-3 days, you might notice more fatigue, a slight headache, or even flu-like symptoms. This is normal. Your body is detoxing and you are removing many of the foods that have been a staple in your diet for so long (like sugar and pizza).  Once you start eliminating these toxins, you should notice less brain fog, more energy, and less bloat. 

Who should NOT partake in this program?

Revitalize and Thrive is not intended for women who are pregnant or breast feeding; persons under 18, even with parent approval, anyone taking blood thinners, or individuals diagnosed with cancer.
